Lets talk tuning! Jeremy Duarte is one of the man behind the laptop for RedZone Tuning When it comes to the 4 cylinder platform.
Jeremy has been tuning Honda's since 1996 when he built a 1992 Honda Civic Hatchback Si that sported a 1996 Acura Integra GSR engine. He installed a 80 shot Direct Port Nitrous kit on to the B18C1 and was able to get the car to run 12.3 second 1/4 miles in stock trim in 1998! He then took this street car and converted it to a race car and installed duel Weber side drafts to the engine and with the Nitrous kit he was able to get the car to run constant 11.0's. this is where his love for Dyno and Street tuning started.
Today, Jeremy has been tuning and building engines for well over two decades now and he is well versed in all Hondata Products as well as Crome, NeptuneRTP, AEM V1 & V2, AEM Infinity, FuelTech and more.Our rates very depending upon Vehicle and management system. Tuning Preparation
Here are some tips to follow when preparing for the dyno :
- Please Make sure you have the factory tow hooks on the front and back of the vehicle. If you have an after market tow hook such as a benen tow hook on the back of your car please remove it before coming to the dyno. If this is not done and or tow hooks are missing, you will be charged an additional $40.00 fee for strapping the vehicle down to the dyno.
- Make sure you have a good O2 sensor bung that can be used on your exhaust system. If you are using a wide band then please be sure to have a secondary O2 location so we can use both our wide band and yours to verify A/F settings for your wide band while tuning. If you do not have a place for our O2 sensor then we will be forced to clamp the O2 sensor to your exhaust tip and will not be responsible for any damage caused to the tip by doing so.
- Please have the ECU accessible. If the ECU is bolted to the vehicle please have it unbolted and laying on the floor ready to be removed.
- Please make sure the car has no check engine lights and everything is in proper working order. If not then you will be charged $150.00 per hour with a 1 hour minimum to repair what needs to be done before the car can be dyno tuned.
ECU Preparation
Yes, we also offers ECU Chipping services here in for OBD1 Honda ecu's. ECU chipping is $150.00 and includes a Base Map for all stock engine setups with bolt on's.
If you are tuning with us then the chipping service is $100.00.If you require a Base Map to get your engine running before coming in for a tune we can help.
A Base Map can be made for your application for a fee.All Base Maps are for starting the car only and checking for leaks and making sure it starts before heading out for a tune, however some Base Maps are able to be driven. Please consult with our Tuner first. We do not recommend driving on any Base Map without doing so.
If you do drive on a base map you are responsible for issues or damage that may occur by doing so with or without the consent from our tuner. If you have questions regarding a Base Map and driving on it you can text Jeremy at (808) 690-6364 - He will be able to better assist you on whether or not you are able to drive on a Base Map to the Dyno. Base Map prices start at $100.00 depending on setup and system.

Tuning Flat Rates are as follows - Honda/Acura-Naturally Aspirated, NOS, or Turbo Charged - Starts at $400.00 and up and Does not include Dyno time/ Dyno rental is separate when not done on our in house Dyno in Northern California.Secondary Tune on different fuel is an additional - $200.00 and up Street Tuning Is available and pricing starts at $400.00 and upWe require a $200.00 deposit to hold your appointment and it will go towards your Tune. It is Non-Refundable if cancellation is not done within 72 hours of tuning appointment.We also offer the following
